Some Limits to Arguing Virtuously

In this paper, I consider whether there are limits to virtuous argumentation in certain situations. three types of cases: 1) arguing against denier discourses, 2) with people who make bigoted claims, and 3) cases which marginalised expected exercise virtues argument from a position limited agency. For each type case, look at where responsibly might be drawn. argue that situations we withdraw engagement for practical reasons others withdrawing or refraining is responsible way deal particular position. Finally, the third expecting as though on even terms positions dominant risks perpetrating argumentative harm.
